On the afternoon of July 30, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, held talks with Chen Gang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Gezhouba Group Co., Ltd., and his delegation in Huaihua. They carried out in-depth exchanges on advancing the cooperation between the corporation and Huaihua.

Xu extended a warm welcome to Chen and his delegation and he also thanked the corporation for its care and support for Huaihua's economic and social development. According to Xu, Huaihua is now thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on Hunan's work. This means that we ought to spare no efforts to prepare for the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference, and constantly consolidate the development momentum of catching up and rising by means of anchoring the beautiful blueprint of "Three Highlands and Four New Missions", deeply implementing the "Five New Initiatives and Four City Goals" strategy, and continuously deepening the integrated development of port, industry, city and tourism. Huaihua aspire to cooperate with the corporation through improvements in precise docking and the promotion of cooperation so as to achieve new breakthroughs and results. Huaihua will also provide a solid service foundation for the corporation’s development.

According to Chen, endowed with profound cultural heritage, prominent geographical advantages, superior resource endowments, Huaihua boasts a huge development potential and broad cooperation space. The corporation will make full use of its own advantages and strengthen its cooperation with Huaihua, in order to improve the docking of specific projects and achieve a win-win outcome.
