An online operation capacity training for tourism services was held in Huaihua on June 14, with the aim of complying with the development trend of new media technology, serving the promotion of the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference, and enhancing the online operation capacity of the tourism industry.
The training was hosted by the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports and the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, and co- organized by the Huaihua Tourism Association. It has attracted more than 300 industry professionals from the Huaihua Tourist Hotels Association, Travel Agencies Association, Scenic Areas Association, and Tour Guide Association.
With rich contents concerning the latest trend of new media industry and the application of AI in the cultural and tourism industry, the training adopted teaching forms such as theoretical empowerment, case analysis, experience sharing, and group roadshow. Under the guidance of trainers, trainees completed their assignments acquired a better understanding of the underlying logic of new media operation, and laid a good foundation for new media operation. Additionally, in view of the characteristics of different associations, targeted and practical courses such as the operation of hotel private domain traffic, new media promotion of customized tourism products, scenic area IP building, and tour guide personal IP positioning were provided.
“This training is a key part of polishing the brand of ‘Blessed Huaihua’. We hope that the online operation capacity and overall service capacity of Huaihua’s tourism industry will be enhanced through the training program,” said relevant personnel of the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism at the site.
