On the morning of May 6th, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, presided over a symposium on the development of private economy of the city. Xu emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the important speech of general secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on private enterprises, conscientiously implement the deployment requirements of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Provincial Government, strengthen development confidence, maintain development determination, and strive to create a new situation of high-quality development of the city’s private economy, so as to make new and greater contributions to achieving the grand blueprint of “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” and the strategy of “Five Innovations and Four Orientations”.
At the symposium, Li Xiaohong, chairman of Hunan Jiahui Department Store Co., Ltd., Mou Xiaofeng, chairman of Hunan Xiangtong Industrial Co., Ltd., Cao Lixiang, chairman of Hunan Hengguang Technology Co., Ltd., Zeng Zhaoming, general manager of Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group (Hunan) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Wang Xincheng, chairman of Hunan Wuxin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Yang Xiaoying, chairman of Hunan Huasheng Diantong Technology Co., Ltd., Lin Chengxiong, chairman of Hunan Huairen Health Industry Group Co., Ltd., Gu Yijie, general manager of Hunan Shunfeng Express Co., Ltd., Xu Jiang, general manager of Hunan Dazhuang Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd., Long Lihong, chairman of Yuanling Shushan Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., and so on delivered a speech successively, putting forward opinions and suggestions on the economic and social development of Huaihua City during the 15th Five Year Plan period based on the actual situation of private enterprises. Xu Zhongjian listened carefully to their opinions and then he requested all relevant official departments of the city to seriously consider what they had expressed, and effectively take concrete measures to solve problems concerned.
Xu pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the development of the private economy. Especially, general secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the symposium on private enterprises has pointed out the direction for promoting the development of the private economy. So, all related departments of all levels in the city, as well as the vast number of private entrepreneurs, should, by deeply grasping general secretary Xi Jinping's major statement on the broad prospects and great potential for the development of the private economy, strengthen confidence and determination, adhere to the principle of taking action first and overcome difficulties to solidly promote the healthy and high-quality development of the private economy.
Xu stressed that the achievements Huaihua has made in the past are inseparable from the great contribution of private entrepreneurs, and Huaihua’s development during the “15th Five Year Plan” period requires even more dedication and responsibility from them. Xu hoped that all private entrepreneurs in the city would firmly uphold their ideals and beliefs, cultivate their patriotism, and actively integrate into the national and provincial strategies as well as the initiatives of “starting new entrepreneurship” in Huaihua by focusing on their main responsibility and business, adhering to deep and meticulous work, strengthening technological innovation and enhancing brand development to fully promote high-quality development of enterprises. Xu also hoped that the private entrepreneurs would establish a sound modern enterprise system, adhere to honest and law-abiding operation, strengthen risk control, and firmly hold the bottom line of safety production and ecological environment protection, as well as take on more social responsibilities, create more employment opportunities, and actively participate in “Revitalizing Rural Areas Through Enterprises” campaign and public welfare and charity undertakings.
Xu underscored that all related official departments of the city must improve their service efficiency for enterprises, create a fair competition environment for enterprises, reduce business operation cost of enterprises, and protect legitimate rights and interests of enterprises, so as to make them focus on production and development with a light heart.
