The dedicated railway line for Huaihua International Land Port serves as a vital component for Huaihua’s active integration into the Belt and Road Initiative and functions as a pivotal link and crucial logistic support for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor. It holds strategic significance in developing Huaihua into an inland hub for reform and opening-up while constructing a modern logistics system. Upon completion, this dedicated line will further enhance Huaihua’s municipal railway network, boost logistics efficiency by 20-30%, reduce transportation costs by approximately 15%, and help advance the Huaihua International Land Port toward its dual goals of becoming a mega-port with a capacity of over 100 million tons and developing into an industry center with a value of RMB one billion.
