The event prompts an enthusiastic response from newly graduates and is beneficial to enterprises
On May 10, Hunan University served as the venue for the convention of the Hunan Recruitment Event themed with “Hunan Talents Settling in Hunan”. This recruitment is part of a series of actions in 2025 with the purpose of encouraging college graduates to seek employment in the province. The event brought together twenty Huaihua’s enterprises and public institutions who provided 302 high-quality job positions, thus attracting nearly 1,000 students for consultation. This has, as a result, generated a new wave of job hunting and enthusiastically resonated with multiple parties of interest.
At the scene, Huaihua Municipal Government did an excellent job in conducting in-depth promotion work and multi-level services, rendering itself as a “strong magnet” for accomplished personnel. This is primarily because it prioritized its Hong Kong Trainees Program and Inland-Hong Kong Talent Partnership Recruitment in an innovative manner. In the city and prefecture promotion exhibition area, the government showcased its distinctive urban characteristics with a section designated for soothing moods and gaining support, attracting many students to learn about Huaihua's policies. Statistically, it received 306 resumes, including 17 from doctorate holders and 153 from master-degree holders. One hundred and three people showed their intentions of working in Huaihua .
The program is established around the construction of Huaihua International inLand Port, aiming to recruit a wide spectrum of talents required for Huaihua's development of "5+10" modern industrial system. The program is designed to foster and develop talents among pivotal private enterprises of the industrial chain. The program is organized and cooperated by the Talent Work Leading Team of Huaihua Municipal Committee of CPC, Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security(HMBHRSS), Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Finance, Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Huaihua Federation of Industry and Commerce, Huaihua Youth League Committee and Huaihua Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. Its objective is to help newly graduates transform from students to “mid-level reserves of human resources” through multiple means such as corporate pre-employment screening, selection by departments, pre-job training, targeted incubation, growth companionship and promotion recommendation.
The recruitment program of Huaihua is another new model proposed and explored by HMBHRSS so as to attract talents and promote industrial development. It is scheduled to turn shortcomings and weaknesses of the city’s "5+10" modern industrial system into strengths, and instill the strengths and competitive edges into small and medium-sized projects of the industrial chains through solicitation and summarization.
Key points include:
Loan Support: Individuals can apply for up to 300,000 RMB in venture guarantee loans; partnership or group startups can apply for up to 110% of the sum of individual loan limits.
Incubation Base Priority: Preferential access to Huaihua's "Inland Port Maker & Home" innovation and entrepreneurship incubation base is made readily available. Entities in the base applying for individual venture guarantee loans under 200,000 RMB are exempt from counter-guarantee requirements if eligible.
Subsidies: Eligible participants receive one-time entrepreneurship subsidies, employment internship subsidies, unemployment insurance stability subsidies, and social security subsidies are provided for disadvantaged groups, as stipulated.
"We hope that more students will come to know much more about Huaihua. Now we have brought along with us a large number of outstanding enterprises and high-quality talent policies as well," said an official from HMBHRSS. The city has provided preferential policies in terms of talent subsidies, housing security, innovation and entrepreneurship. It is a sincere hope that accomplished people come and get settled in Huaihua, a powerhouse for innovation and entrepreneurship where they could let their lofty ambitions survive and thrive.
Meanwhile, the Inland Port "Employment" Live Studio visited and explored Sanitation Equipment Company of Sany Group's. Both professional anchors and corporate representatives were engaged in this event via "live streaming+short videos", which fully demonstrated the firm’s development prospects, corporate culture, work environment, and job requirements. The number of online exposure reached 142,000 people, with 50,000 viewers, 386 new followers, and the live-streaming received 1,055 comments from netizens.
At present, Hunan Agricultural University, Central South University of Forestry and Technology, and Huaihua University have expressed their preliminary cooperation intents for building up an inland port partnership. Brands such as Guanlebei, Mingyou Food, Yang Jiajiang, and Mingyou Company (for manufacturing processed duck products) have confirmed cooperation projects encompassing live streaming, online sales, brand upgrading, and planning and designing cultural tourism along the Wushui River.
Looking forward, the city will continuously implement the program and publicly recruit inland port partners via "recruitment orders". HMBHRSS will provide a package of supporting policies to offer a broad innovation and entrepreneurship arena for young talents, thereby giving a strong impetus to the development and self-repairing of the city's distinctive industrial chains .
