    During the inspection, Xu emphasized the need to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's cultural thought and his important instructions on tourism, as well as the decisions of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, government, and organizing committee. He urged focused efforts to tackle challenges, adhere strictly to timelines, accelerate construction schedules, and spare no effort in speeding up project development. He Zunqing, deputy secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Huaihua Political and Legal Affairs Committee, joined the inspection with other officials including Li Weilin, Yin Peiguo, Hu Chen, Xiang Shouqing, Hu Heping, and Xiang Rulian.

    At Hemingzhou, Xu reviewed plans for quality improvement and construction progress. He instructed officials to coordinate upgrades and lighting enhancements to transform the area into both an immersive night-time tourist destination and a leisure hub for residents. At the Huaihua Smart Tourism Service Center, he stressed the importance of optimizing service functions and enhancing visitor convenience based on tourist needs.

    At Yushu Bay, Tianwen Island and the ASEAN Complex, Xu inspected construction sites and addressed issues in real time. He highlighted the need for meticulous attention to design details, strict oversight of engineering quality and safety, and adherence to timelines through reverse scheduling and efficient organization to ensure timely completion and operation. He also emphasized integrating project development with surrounding landscape enhancement, environmental improvement, greening, and infrastructure coordination to elevate urban image.

    During a boat tour to review the waterway design, Xu called for modern technological integration to showcase Huaihua's historical and cultural heritage, creating an immersive night-time river cruise experience merging culture and technology.

    Throughout the inspection, Xu stressed that leading officials must take charge, strengthen coordination, and work proactively to advance key projects. He also urged balanced efforts to prioritize public needs by accelerating renovations of old residential areas and back alleys to enhance living environments and deliver tangible benefits to residents.
