On January 17th, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 2025 blessed land of Huaihua New Year Consumption Week and the launch ceremony of the Friendship City’s Agricultural Product Sharing Cooperation Alliance were held in Huaihua City. The event is under the guidance of Huaihua Municipal Government and hosted by the Municipal Agriculture and Forestry Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. With the goal of “promoting consumption, strengthening brands, and revitalizing industries”, it is to be committed to creating articles on “local specialties” and transforming “hometown characteristics” into “city business cards”.

This event has a large scale, a wide range of categories, and many discounts. A total of 310 exhibitors were invited, bringing thousands of products, covering various consumer categories such as Huaixiang products, local New Year’s products, ASEAN and overseas products, products from nine major cities in China, Huaihua time-honored brands, and intangible cultural heritages and creative products. Citizens can not only purchase special New Year’s goods from all over the country, but also experience rich and colorful folk cultural activities and feel the strong New Year flavor.

Under the guidance of the China Agricultural Products Market Association, Huaihua Municipal Agriculture and Forestry Group, together with agricultural development and investment enterprises in cities such as Sanya, Lanzhou, Qingyuan, Bijie, Baoding, Changchun, Kunming, and Bazhong, has officially launched the establishment of the Friendship City’s Agricultural Products Sharing Cooperation Alliance. This measure is of great significance for building a unified national market, promoting the branding development of urban agriculture, enhancing agricultural competitiveness, and increasing farmers’ income.
