Military personnel, armed police, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and reserve militia stand ready to protect our safety. Sanitation workers and small business owners rise early and work tirelessly. Couriers and food delivery riders navigate through streets and alleys. People from all walks of life strive for happiness and fight for their dreams, reflecting Huaihua’s vibrant and charismatic character. Hereby, on behalf of the Municipal People’s Government, I extend my highest respect and heartfelt gratitude to all of you!
Fellow deputies,
While acknowledging our achievements, we must also clearly recognize that the current economic and social development of the city still faces many challenges and problems. The main issues are as follows: growth momentum is insufficient, some indicators have not met expectations, and the economic growth momentum needs further consolidation; there are few leading enterprises with a significant impact, the presence of substantial industrial clusters is inadequate, and the specialization and refinement of industrial services are still relatively low; the impetus for innovation is not strong enough, there are few innovation platforms, leading to a relatively lagging development of new quality productive forces; there are still some shortcomings in improving people’s livelihood and considerable pressure in addressing local government debt issue; there is insufficient execution and creativity in implementing policies, and administrative efficiency needs further enhancement. We must face these problems head-on and tackle them with determination, striving to find solutions by all possible means.
