On the morning of January 3, 2025, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, held a working meeting with Wan Min, chairman and secretary of the CPC Committee of COSCO SHIPPING Group, who came to Huaihua for inspection, to conduct in-depth docking work on promoting in-depth cooperation and development in multiple fields.
On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government of Huaihua, Xu Zhongjian welcomed Wan Min and his delegation, and expressed his gratitude to COSCO SHIPPING Group for its long-term important contributions to the development of Huaihua and Yuanling County. He said that COSCO SHIPPING Group has provided specific assistance to Yuanling County for 15 years, and has fully supported the construction of Huaihua International Land Port, demonstrating the responsibility of central government-owned enterprises. At present, Huaihua is deeply studying and implementing the important speech and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Hunan Province, anchoring the beautiful blueprint of the "Three Highlands and Four New Missions" strategy, continuing to build Huaihua International Land Port with the efforts of the whole city, actively connecting and integrating into the new western land-sea corridor, and striving to create a landmark project for the reform and opening-up highland in the inland area, and accelerating the high-level opening and high-quality development of Huaihua City.
