On December 12, the renovation of water supply pipe network for the construction of supporting facilities in old communities such as Fuxing Garden in Hecheng District, Huaihua City, which was implemented by Huaihua Water Supply Co. LTD, was completed and officially put into use. At the project site, relevant leaders from each construction unit made an acceptance inspection of municipal pipelines, community household meters, pressurized pumping stations and other projects one by one.
According to some information, the total investment of the water supply pipe network renovation for the construction of supporting facilities in old communities such as Fuxing Garden in Hecheng District, Huaihua City is CNY 28 million, which is a key project in the city that has received financial support from the central budget. The project is located in the old district of Huaihua City. The existing water supply pipe network has been laid for a long time, with large water leakage losses. In addition, some areas feature high terrain and small pipe diameters for water supply, resulting in insufficient pressure for water supply. In order to ensure high-quality water supply and allow local residents to use “safe water”, the water company has comprehensively improved the water supply system in the area based on the actual condition in the area and the water use on the part of local residents.
The renovation needs to be completed in residential areas and municipal main roads, and there is a large number of people coming and going. Besides, construction must be conducted at each point according to the limited time, and residents must also travel safely during construction. For these reasons, the project department of the water company communicates and coordinates with the leaders in the property management, communities, and districts in advance, and minimizes the impact of the renovation on residents’ lives through measures such as scientifically setting up enclosures, reasonably arranging a schedule for renovation, and reducing dust and noise. During the renovation process, the project department actively used such advanced facilities as new water meter boxes, stainless steel environmentally friendly materials, and smart integrated pumping stations to optimize the performance and stability of water supply facilities, greatly improving the efficiency and quality of renovation. Through careful preparation of design plans and meticulous construction, the renovation of internal water supply pipelines, water meter boxes and other facilities in 17 communities was successfully completed. The old pipe network with the length of 16,280 meters has been renovated, effectively solving the problem of insufficient water pressure in high-terrain communities, which, in turn, makes water quality improved and water pressure stable.
After renovation, the water supply facilities in old communities such as Fuxing Garden in Hecheng District have taken on a completely new look. Water supply efficiency and water quality have been greatly improved, benefiting more than 20,000 people.
