On the afternoon of December 2nd, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, conducted research and held a symposium at the Organization Department and United Front Work Department of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee. Xu emphasized the need to deeply study and implement general secretary Xi Jinping's important ideas on Party building and on doing a good job in the united front work of the Party in the new era by strengthening mission responsibility, conscientiously fulfilling duties, actively exploring and innovating, so as to make new contributions in serving the overall interests of the country.
Xu stressed that we should have a clear political stance, adhere to the role positioning of political organs and political workers, always maintain absolute loyalty, absolute purity, and absolute reliability in political nature, and consciously integrate political awareness into all aspects of organizational and united front work. He added we should concentrate on serving the overall interests of the country, consciously think and position our work in the overall situation, trend, and major events of Huaihua city, and find the right entry point and breakthrough point for our work. The organizational department should closely focus on the central task of the Party in the new era and new journey by coordinating and doing a good job in theoretical armament, selecting and appointing capable individuals, strengthening the foundation, cultivating and gathering talents, performance evaluation and other work so as to build a strong backbone for entrepreneurship. The united front department should highlight the need to consolidate consensus, expand unity, strengthen ideological and political guidance, and improve the quality and efficiency of united front work in various fields with concerted efforts.
Xu pointed out that we must firmly adhere to the strict governance of the Party, consolidate and deepen the achievements of Party discipline learning and education, deepen the comprehensive strict governance of the Party, continuously strengthen the capacity, ideology, and working style construction of cadres, comprehensively improve the performance ability and work quality of cadres of the organizational and united front systems, and focus on building a high-quality cadre team that is loyal, clean, and responsible.
