On the afternoon of July 12, a municipal scheduling meeting on overload control was held. Vice Mayor Yu Jianyong attended and delivered a speech.

Affirming the results achieved in the work of controlling overload this year, Yu Jianyong analyzed the current severe situation in controlling overload of Huaihua City, and put forward specific requirements on how to do a good job in controlling overload in the next step.

Yu Jianyong demanded that measures to control overload should be strictly implemented, and greater efforts should be made to push forward this work, or rather, the overload should be controlled in terms of source, road surface, science and technology, and special action, hoping to bolster law enforcement. It is of necessity to strengthen supervision and assessment of overload control, consolidate  responsibilities, and let the mechanisms play certain part like supervision, interview and assessment, and accountability. We are supposed to make continuous efforts to control overload, comprehensively identify the weak links in the work of controlling overloads, strengthen the awareness of coordination, and form a synergy in work. It is of necessity to keep a close eye on the key indicators of controlling overload from scientific and technological perspective, focus on source control, road supervision, scientific and technological means, and platform management to control overload, improve mechanisms such as data analysis, work scheduling, problem notification, and supervision, carry out regular road law enforcement, and resolutely implement source supervision responsibility, thus going all out to push the overload control to a new level.

At the meeting, the work on controlling overload in the first half of the year was reported, and the implementation plan for participating in the provincial training and competition for controlling overload was read out. Representatives from Hongjiang City and Mayang County made statements on the work of controlling overload.
