On the afternoon of July 20, Xu Zhongjian presided over a special scheduling meeting for the improvement of the surroundings around Huaihua South Railway Station of the high-speed railway and the entrances and exits of the expressways. He emphasized that we must carefully carry out the plans and requirements by CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and people’s Government of Hunan Province for hosting the 11th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs, highlight the problem-driven orientation, make great efforts to speed up the improvement and adhere to long-term governance, continuously boosting the quality image of Huaihua. Municipal leaders Li Weilin and Hu Heping attended the meeting.

At the meeting, we listened to a report on the improvement of surroundings around Huaihua South Railway Station of the high-speed railway and the entrances and exits of expressways, and proposed specific measures in response to existing difficulties and problems.

Xu Zhongjian pointed out that all relevant units at all levels in the city should see that their thoughts and actions must be in effective accordance with the plans and requirements by CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and people’s Government of Hunan Province for hosting the 11th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs, go all out to do a good job in various preparations for the Forum, and spare no efforts to implement the “One-Greet and three-develops ” action to bolster the quality of Huaihua City, ensuring that the surroundings around Huaihua South Railway Station of the high-speed railway and the entrances and exits of expressways can be clean and safe and that the 11th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs can be celebrated in a city with a brand-new image.

Xu Zhongjian emphasized that it is of necessity to make great efforts to improve the surroundings, with the municipal leaders as well as the comrades in charge of relevant departments directly under the municipal government and the main responsible comrades of Hecheng District paying specific attention and supervising the details, and all special work teams must go all out to promote the work. We must do our best and within our capabilities and invest less to do more practical things, with the limited funds for the best possible benefits. Further efforts will be made to straighten out the mechanism and system, ensuing that all relevant units at all levels perform their duties, shoulder their responsibilities, and work together to form a strong work force. We must persist in focusing on regular activities, improve and implement regular law enforcement, inspection, and supervision mechanisms, seeing that the improvement of the surroundings is regular and long-term. Publicity and guidance must be strengthened and the people are supposed to be fully mobilized to participate in the improvement of the surroundings, working to form a working situation of co-construction, co-governance and sharing.

Before the meeting, Xu Zhongjian and his entourage came to the toll stations of Huaihua East and Huaihua West Expressway to inspect the improvement of the surroundings around the entrances and exits of expressways.
