The first Hunan RCEP (Huaihua) Trade Exposition came to an end on May 7. The “Expo” was very successful and full of highlights, during which 113 projects were signed with a total investment of 75 billion yuan. It attracted 370,000 visitors to the exhibition. The on-site turnover reached more than 120 million yuan and the amount purchased under contracts was about 810 million yuan. During the 4 days, the perfect preparation, organization and implementation, and the warm, thoughtful and efficient services of Huaihua won highly positive comments from all participants.

On returning home, the envoys of RCEP member states, including Laos, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar, etc., had universally good responses to Huaihua’s warm reception and careful arrangements. They all expressed high recognition of the achievements of the fair and hoped to deepen economic and trade cooperation with Huaihua and Hunan and to establish a regular dialogue, exchange and cooperation mechanism with them by taking advantage of the platforms such as Hunan RCEP Economic and Trade Expo.
Business associations from RCEP member countries gathered in Huaihua to seek new opportunities for economic cooperation. “The reason why Huaihua is beautiful and attractive is because of your hospitality, warmness and enthusiasm,” said Li Xiguo, vice-president of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Laos, adding that Huaihua’s hospitality, smiling faces, sweet words and thoughtful service impressed him deeply.

I will bring the enthusiasm and sincerity of Huaihua people back to Australia to share with my friends and and promote Huaihua to them,” said Yang Hui, vice-president of the Hunan Association of Victoria Province in Australia.
Huaihua takes this “Economic and Trade Expo” as an opportunity to show its good image, let more people know this city, understand it, and ultimately to invest here. “Huaihua is a magical land, and every time I come here, I get something new. I have a new respect for this place and a greater yearning for it. “We feel the ambition of Huaihua Municipal Government to seize the opportunity and to push forward the construction of a modern new Huaihua, the roaring locomotives and working scaffolding on the International Land Port, and the warm hospitality of the people of Huaihua,” said Liu Youliang, general manager of Huaihua Chuanhua Road Port of Chuanhua Logistics Group Co.,Ltd., who hoped to make a contribution to build Huaihua a service-oriented logistics hub in the country with high-quality development by complementing the road port model that was first established in Huaihua five years ago with the road and rail transports of Huaihua International Land Port.
