In the afternoon of November 26, 12 TEUs of agricultural machinery and equipment donated by the Hunan Provincial Government to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos were loaded and shipped in the customs supervision area of Huaihua International Inland Port, carrying the profound friendship of Hunan people to Vientiane, Laos.
On August 26, the Hunan Provincial Government and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Laos signed a memorandum of cooperation on the "One Road, Two Parks" project, and held a donation ceremony for agricultural machinery and equipment. With the joint efforts of all parties, the batch of agricultural machinery and equipment arrived at Huaihua International Land Port in the middle of November, and the new channel operation (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was responsible for the shipment of trains. Huaihua Customs has set up a green channel for customs clearance to go through the formalities of customs transfer to ensure that these agricultural machinery and equipment are quickly, safely, and efficiently transported to Laos by China Laos cross-border trains.
The agricultural machinery and equipment donated by the provincial government this time are the flagship products of Zoomlion, mainly including nine kinds of agricultural machinery and equipment, such as rotary tiller, seedling throwing machine, seedling raising machine, disc plough, rice machine, etc. According to the contents of the memorandum, the two sides will further enhance international cooperation in agricultural scientific research and technology, and provide support for the agricultural development of the two sides in terms of new scientific research technologies and scientific and technological talents.
Huaihua International Land Port, as the only freight gathering center connecting with ASEAN in the province, currently runs 125 trains, including 94 rail sea intermodal trains, 27 China Laos trains, and 4 China Vietnam trains. It has built a bridge linking Changsha, the provincial capital, with the new land sea channel in the west to connect ASEAN.
