    Huaihua City holds the 2025 New Year talk on encouraging Huaihua merchants and alumni to go back home

    The attendees celebrate the New Year, share their hometown bonds, and plan for future development

    On the afternoon of February 1, CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and People’s Government of Huaihua City held the 2025 New Year talk on encouraging Huaihua merchants and alumni to go back home. The attendees celebrated the New Year, shared their hometown bonds, and planned for future development. The event was addressed by Xu Zhongjian, Secretary of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, presided over by Li Chunqiu, Deputy Secretary of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huaihua City, and attended by municipal leaders Li Weilin, Han Xiaobo and Hu Heping.

    On behalf of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, People’s Government of Huaihua City and 5.25 million Huaihua people, Xu Zhongjian extended New Year greetings and best wishes to the entrepreneurs, heads of chambers of commerce, and alumni. He stated that over the past year, Huaihua has upheld the “three highlands and four new missions” vision and the “five new missions and four orientations” strategy, made new achievements in various endeavors, and embraced the important opportunity for development, entering a new stage of bolstering high-quality development with high-level opening up and establishing a new image of an open, inclusive and vibrant city. This year, the city will seize major opportunities, step up reform, and advance the development of port, industry, city and tourism, to sustain its upward development trajectory. Today’s Huaihua is brimming with business opportunities. It will surely offer a vast platform for Huaihua merchants to start business and make a difference. Xu hoped that the attendees would become partners in Huaihua’s development and leverage their strengths to bring more industries, capital, projects and talents to Huaihua, so that more enterprises and merchants can understand Huaihua, engage with Huaihua and invest in Huaihua. He assured that the city would provide the highest level of hospitality and the best services to create an enabling environment for everyone to invest, start business and live.

    At the event, representatives including Mou Xiaofeng, Chairman of Hunan Xiangtong Industry Co., Ltd., Song Shuyuan, General Manager of Hunan Xinghuai New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Zeng Zhaoming, General Manager of Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group (Hunan) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Wang Liming, Chairman of Hunan Yiou New Materials Co., Ltd., Yang Xiaoying, Chairman of Hunan Huasheng Diantong Technology Co., Ltd., Chen Zusong, Chairman of Dongguan Daika Electronics Co., Ltd., Zhang Jiarui, Chairman of Thailand Mainstream Trading Company and Hunan Taizunxiang Import and Export Co., Ltd., Su Wenjie, Chairman of Huaihua Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and Zhonghan Liantou Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Li Shaodong, head of the special leading group for investment promotion in the Greater Bay Area, delivered speeches. They shared their experiences in investment and business promotion, expressed their deep affection for Huaihua and firm confidence in investment, and offered suggestions for Huaihua’s high-level opening up and high-quality development.

    A project signing ceremony was also held. A total of 15 projects were signed by 13 counties, cities and districts, as well as Huaihua Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Huaihua International Land Port Economic Development Zone, amounting to RMB3.79 billion.
