He also remarked that in-depth measures will be taken to inspect the cultural, tourism and modern agricultural projects in Huaihua and seek cooperative opportunities in a proactive manner.
On June 13, the 2024 Inspection Meeting of the Contribution of Hunan Entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area to Hunan’s 4×4 Modern Industrial System and Return of 100 Enterprises of Hunan Entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area to Hunan was held in Changsha. During the meeting, representatives of Huaihua made presentations about industrial development and industrial park construction.
“In today’s Huaihua, the international land port is setting sail for a long voyage into a promising future, and the “5+10” modern industrial system is taking shape rapidly. We sincerely invite friends worldwide to share the new opportunities brought by national and provincial strategies in Huaihua, and embark on a new course of industrial development. Let’s build a new hub for open economy together as the partners of entrepreneurship in Huaihua.” Huaihua has sent invitations to global Hunan entrepreneurs with the hope that more entrepreneurs can come to, advertise and invest in Huaihua.
It’s a productive time to return to and invest in Huaihua. Huaihua is the only freight assembly center for ASEAN in the five trading channels of Hunan Province. In 2022, the city was included in the “13+2” inter-provincial consultation and cooperation mechanism of the new western land-sea corridor. Since then, it has provided services across China and has been involved in trades globally.
Huaihua has taken a string of measures to build an investment hotspot for returning Hunan entrepreneurs. It set the year 2024 as the “Year of Investment Promotion” and organized the “1+3+N” investment promotion activities. Specifically, “1” means making every effort to host the 11th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs; “3” means focusing on the three characteristic industrial clusters of new display, bag & leatherware and traditional Chinese medicine to attract investment; and “N” means other key investment promotion matchmaking activities. Huaihua has also taken the “six actions” to promote investment with industrial chains, task forces, characteristic industrial parks and cross-border trades. From January to May, 271 projects were introduced across the city, with an overall investment of RMB85,582 million, up 71.51% and 45.95% year-on-year, respectively, constantly raising the city’s industrial investment attraction.
To offer a more enabling environment to entrepreneurs, Huaihua has made continuous efforts to streamline business handling procedures, in a bid to cut costs, increase efficiency and upgrade environment.
For projects with the returning Hunan entrepreneurs to be launched in the industrial parks, Huaihua has adopted a model that features service provision upon business negotiation, land provision upon contract signing, support provision upon construction, and certificate issuance upon completion. Huaihua has also held symposiums on supporting entrepreneurs, set up a service hotline for private enterprises, and issued the Entrepreneur Green Card that offers preferential schooling and medical treatment.
It is learned that the inspection meeting was attended by over 110 representatives of principals of Hunan chambers of commerce in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Before this, some Hunan entrepreneurs have come to Huaihua and visited the Huaihua International Land Port Planning Exhibition Hall, Huaihua International Bags & Suitcase City Industrial Park, Hunan Xinghuai New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Zhengqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Zhijiang Industrial Development Zone, and others. They also conducted in-depth exchanges on how to enhance cooperation and develop their hometown and showed their specific cooperative intentions.
Hunan is waiting for you with full energy and opportunities. At present, there are more than four million Hunan entrepreneurs in over 180 countries and regions around the globe and they have achieved an asset scale exceeding RMB4 trillion. According to statistics, from January to May, Huaihua introduced 159 projects with returning Hunan entrepreneurs, with an overall investment of RMB 52,198 million, up 43.24% and 40.63% year-on-year, respectively.
