On the evening of September 13, the Joint Operations Command for the Fifth Hunan Tourism Development Conference convened a special scheduling meeting, in which reports on the preparations were reviewed and the arrangements for major tasks were discussed. Li Aiwu, Deputy Head of Hunan Provincial Publicity Department and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, addressed the meeting, while Xu Zhongjian, Secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, presided over the meeting.

In her address, Li Aiwu noted that the preparations for the conference had been progressing in a tense yet orderly manner and were now largely complete. She emphasized the need to strengthen results-oriented efforts and spare no effort to work to ensure that the conference and its related events goes well. She called for a focus on perfecting details by carefully reviewing and evaluating the processes, segments, and key points of the conference activities, leaving no detail overlooked. Additionally, she stressed the importance of refining contingency plans to ensure adaptability and a foolproof outcome.

While presiding over the meeting, Xu Zhongjian pointed out that we must firmly boost our confidence in achieving victory and go all out to secure the final triumph. In terms of the preparations for the conference, Xu Zhongjian stressed the need to repeatedly refine every detail, check and fill gaps with much care, and ensure its perfection; to uphold the bottom line of safety and maintain social harmony and stability; and to strengthen the implementation of responsibilities, adopt list management for daily tasks, ensuring that all the requirements for the conference are fully delivered on.

The leading officials from the General Command and various specialized operation commands attended the meeting.

In the afternoon, Li Aiwu and Xu Zhongjian conducted an inspection of the relevant preparations for the conference.
