On the evening of July 12, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, made an unannounced inspection tour (using the “Four No’s and Two Directlys” method) of the work progress of key cultural tourism projects in the downtown, while extending regards to construction workers. He emphasized that for projects with tight schedules and heavy workloads, it is imperative to keep a close eye on the deadlines, fully implement reverse scheduling with visual tracking, organize construction in a scientific way, and accelerate daily work progress, ensuring that the projects are completed and put into use as scheduled by all means necessary.
Xu Zhongjian inspected the project sites including Tianwen Island, Huaihua Grand Theatre, ASEAN Hub, and the South High-Speed Rail Station, where he supervised construction management and project progress on site in detail. He emphasized that, the construction of key cultural and tourism projects has entered a critical stage, safety and quality must always be prioritized, and full-process supervision must be effectively strengthened without the slightest slack. It is of necessity to optimize the construction process, refine construction tasks, organize shift work in a scientific and effective manner, and effectively improve construction efficiency. It is also required to give full play to the role of trade unions at all levels by doing a good job in labor protection in terms of heatstroke and fatigued operations, so as to effectively safeguard the safety and health of the workers..
During the inspection, Xu Zhongjian emphasized that the “137” work promotion mechanism must be strictly carried out, and municipal leaders must persistently conduct on-site command and coordination, adopt a problem-oriented approach to resolve difficulties and blockages in the work. Relevant municipal departments should proactively fulfill their duties to comprehensively enhance performance and efficiency.
