He Xi, chairman of the board of CPID and chief engineer (New Energy) of SPIC and Lv Tianbao, chairman of the board of Shangdong Lubei Group, made an inspection tour to Huaihua from November 4 to 5. At the symposium held on the afternoon of November 4, Li Chunqiu, deputy secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and Huaihua mayor, conducted in-depth exchanges with He Xi and Lv Tiaobao on project cooperation. Municipal leaders Yao Shuming and Li Shizhong attended the symposium.

At the symposium, Mr. Li extended warm welcome to the visiting delegation and introduced Huaihua’s economic and social developmen. He said that Huaihua, the birth place of hybrid rice, enjoys outstanding geographic advantages for development as the only node city in the central region where the new western land-sea corridor and the new international land-sea trade corridor intersect. At present, the city has focused its efforts in building the Huaihua International Land Port as a highland of inland reform and opening-up and the new “5+N” modern industrial system, expecting to carry out in-depth cooperation with CPID and Shangdong Lubei Group in the fields of new energy development and utilization, stone coal power generation, and planting and breeding. As a sign of commitment, Huaihua will provide the optimal services for investing enterprises.

Mr. He and Mr. Lv noted that Huaihua with geographic advantages and rich natural resources has maintained a strong development momentum, and their companies will cooperate with the city in new energy development and utilization and in the development of green energy and new energy industry, putting focus on meeting Huaihua’s needs and bringing more projects to Huaihua, so as to facilitate the high-quality development of its economy.

During the visit in Huaihua, He Xi and Lv Tianbao also led the delegation to visit several enterprises based at Hongjiang District and Zhijiang County.
