On October 19, the 2023 National Private Enterprises Sci-tech Innovation and Standards Innovation Conference and the Famous Private Enterprises Assisting the Building of a Modern New Hunan Conference opened in Changsha. Themed "Innovation of Hunan Province and Strength of Private Enterprises", the conference was co-organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It showed three major characteristics of "focusing on investment attraction of private enterprises, highlighting the advanced manufacturing, and guiding the return of Hunan-born entrepreneurs". Altogether, 59 provincial major investment projects were signed during the meeting, with eight projects signed on site. The total investment reached 42.76 billion yuan.
