On the morning of September 18, 2026, Wei Zhaohui, secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, inspected and oversaw preparations for the 7th Municipal Congress of the CPC. Wei emphasized that we should act with a strong sense of political responsibility and mission, push forward work from a high standpoint, organize meticulously and make thorough arrangements. All preparatory tasks must be refined to perfection to guarantee the smooth convening and complete success of the Congress. At the main venue of the 7th Municipal Congress of the CPC—the Auditorium of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government Compound, Wei closely examined venue arrangement, atmosphere building and equipment operation. At Home2 Suites by Hilton, Huatai Phoenix International Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel and the conference hall of the Guest House, Wei visited key areas including meeting rooms, dining halls and guest rooms to inspect on-site accommodation, catering, venue layout and conference support services.
During the inspection, Wei pointed out that the 7th Municipal Congress of the CPC is a major, joyous and significant event in the political life of people across the city. We must strictly control every detail, standardize venue layout and refine conference procedures to ensure efficient operation, seamless coordination and absolute safety of the Congress. Service support shall be strengthened. We need to keep a close eye on all links including delegate registration, conference organization, accommodation and catering arrangements, and medical support to comprehensively improve service quality and efficiency. We shall hold the Congress in a frugal manner, strictly implement the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation and its implementing rules, and foster a simple, pragmatic conference style. The bottom line of safety must be firmly upheld. We should fully screen potential risks and hazards, refine and improve emergency response plans to ensure the safe and orderly running of the Congress. Efforts to create a favorable atmosphere shall be intensified. Slogans and signs shall be carefully installed. We should use multi-channel, diversified and matrixed communication to tell stories of the development achievements over the past five years and the development blueprint for the next five years, fostering a strong atmosphere of unity, endeavour and high morale.
