On December 31, 2025, Wei Zhaohui, deputy secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huaihua City, held work meetings with the Hunan Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Hunan Provincial Department of Justice, and the Sany Group Co., Ltd. Discussions focused on thoroughly implementing the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the decisions and requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. These meetings aimed to facilitate key work coordination and accelerate the high-quality development of Huaihua.
During the meeting with Wu Jianbo, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director-General of the Hunan Provincial Forestry Bureau, Wei expressed her gratitude to the bureau for its long-standing support for the development of Huaihua. She stated that Huaihua has thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thoughts on Ecological Civilization, adhered to the principle of prioritizing ecological protection and pursuing green development. Therefore the city has successfully been listed as one of the first batch of pilot areas for the ecological product value realization mechanism in China, thus promoting the better transformation of ecological advantages into development momentum. She hoped that the bureau would continue to provide Huaihua with more guidance and support in such aspects as the realization of the value of forestry ecological products, expanding and strengthening the forestry industry, and ecological health and wellness tourism.
Wu hoped that Huaihua would set an example in deepening the reform of the collective forest tenure system, take the lead in the high-quality development of the forestry ecological industry, and act as a pacesetter in the systematic governance of forest land. The bureau would, as always, support the development of Huaihua's forestry industry, jointly explore new paths for achieving a win-win situation between ecological protection and economic development, and help Huaihua build a model for the high-quality development of forestry in Hunan.
During the meeting with Li Zhong, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director-General of the Hunan Provincial Department of Justice, Wei expressed her gratitude to the department for its long-term care and support for Huaihua. She stated that high-quality development, social harmony and stability cannot be achieved without the support and guarantee of the rule of law. She hoped that the department would continue to provide Huaihua with more guidance and support in such areas as the building of a law-based government, the construction of the Legal Affairs Zone of Huaihua International Land Port, and advancing reforms in the legal field to empower social governance and services.
Li noted that Huaihua has attained notable achievements in promoting the rule of law and advancing judicial and administrative work. He hoped that the city of Huaihua would better coordinate the work of governing the city by law, further promote the standardized development of administrative law enforcement, strengthen the construction of public legal services, and comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of judicial and administrative work. The department will fully support Huaihua in elevating its work of governing the city by law and judicial administration to a new level, thus contributing to building a safer and more law-based Huaihua at a higher standard.
During the meeting with Xiang Wenbo, secretary of the Party Committee and Rotating Chairman of Sany Group, Wei briefed him on Huaihua’s economic and social development in recent years. She stated that the Sany Group is a world-leading enterprise in the equipment manufacturing industry, and its strategic direction is highly aligned with Huaihua’s transformation and development. She hoped that the corporation would give full play to its advantages in talent, technology, capital, market and other aspects, and further increase the deployment and advancement of projects in Huaihua in such fields as advanced manufacturing and new energy. Huaihua will continue to optimize the business environment, create favorable conditions for enterprise development, fully provide service guarantee for the corporate projects settled in Huaihua, and jointly promote the expansion and strengthening of these projects.
Xiang expressed his gratitude to the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government of Huaihua for their attention and support for the Sany Group’s development in Huaihua. He spoke highly of Huaihua’s sound business environment and broad development prospects, and stated that the corporation will rely on Huaihua’s advantages in transportation location, energy resources and other aspects to continuously increase investment and layout in Huaihua, so as to help Huaihua revitalize and upgrade its manufacturing industry.
