To ensure safe transportation and service guarantees during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, and to ensure safe and convenient travel for the public and efficient transportation of key supplies, relevant departments of Huaihua City have made meticular arrangements and implemented targeted policies.
The city's transportation system strengthened safety oversight of cruise ships and passenger vessels, conducting pre-holiday inspections of vessel seaworthiness and crew competency. During the holiday, a dedicated team implemented measures such as tiered security, on-site monitoring, and onboard supervision to strengthen the oversight of key waters and vessels. Furthermore, safety oversight of key areas, including passenger and hazardous materials, was strengthened, and dynamic vehicle monitoring was enhanced. Comprehensive inspections of these vehicles within the jurisdiction were carried out. Law enforcement inspections were strengthened in conjunction with the Public Security Bureau, Traffic Management Bureau, and other departments, with strict enforcement of laws and regulations to crack down on illegal operations, "three violations, one fatigue," and other violations.
To ensure passenger transport services, strengthen road and waterway passenger transport, enhance integrated transport coordination, and effectively improve transport service quality, Huaihua South High-Speed Railway Station implemented a dynamic adjustment known as "daily map". Capacity was expanded by adding 98 temporary passenger trains to popular destinations and 45 night high-speed trains. Four additional security checkpoints were added, and during peak hours, two-handed checks and double manual ticket inspections were implemented. Upgraded gates support entry with the scanning of temporary electronic IDs, increasing traffic efficiency by nearly 30%.
