On October 12, the themed event "Blessed Huaihua, Vibrant Wuxi—2025 Huaihua Campaign 'Civilization Unites Us, Huaihua Shines Brighter'" was successfully held in the Yuyuan community of Huaihua. Jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Huaihua Municipal Committee of the CPC, the Huaihua Civic Ethics Office, and the People's Government of Hecheng District, the event saw active participation from the Huaihua Federation of Trade Unions and the Huaihua Volunteers Association.

Through a series of community-oriented volunteer services, these departments cultivated among the general public legal awareness and safety concepts while serving the public with great care.

On the day of the event, the atmosphere was vibrant and well-organized. The Huaihua Federation of Trade Unions set up comprehensive promotional booths in close collaboration with the Huaihua Volunteers Association. Through distributing educational pamphlets and providing on-site consultations, the volunteers focused on raising public awareness of essential legislation such as the Trade Union Law of the People's Republic of China, the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China, and the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China—all crucial to protecting workers' rights.

The staff used relatable cases and plain language to explain key legal concepts, ranging from labor contract signing and labor dispute resolution to safeguarding workers' legitimate rights and interests. They also addressed common civil law matters including marriage, property inheritance, and tort liability, guiding attendees on how to utilize legal tools to protect their lawful rights.

At the drug prevention booth, detailed presentations supported by realistic drug models vividly exposed the dangers of emerging synthetic drugs, significantly enhancing the public's ability to identify, prevent, and reject drug abuse.

The event also featured the special inclusion of the "Yellow Bracelet Campaign," an initiative dedicated to supporting seniors with the Alzheimer's disease. The volunteers patiently and meticulously registered on-site attendees aged 60 and above, providing them with free WeChat yellow bracelets designed to assist in connecting lost elderly individuals with their families. They symbolize society's heartfelt commitment to protecting its aging population, showcasing the warmth of an urban civilization that truly cares.

According to statistics, this event distributed over 1,000 promotional items in total, including union eco-bags and educational materials on legal literacy, drug prevention, and the Yellow Bracelet Campaign, achieving remarkable outreach and significant social resonance. By adopting a multi-dimensional "legal advocacy + drug prevention + senior care" model, the initiative has not only enriched the city's cultural development campaign but also tangibly enhanced residents' sense of fulfillment, well-being, and security. This event served as a dynamic demonstration of Huaihua's efforts to deepen the integration of ethical building and social governance, injecting vitality into the development of a harmonious, safe, and thriving Huaihua.
