On the afternoon of September 8, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, chaired the 10th meeting of Huaihua Municipal Executive Committee of the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference. Xu emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement general secretary Xi Jinping's cultural ideology and important discourse on tourism development, conscientiously implement the decision-making and deployment of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Provincial Government, as well as the work requirements of Hunan Provincial Organizing Committee of the conference, focus on key work with precise efforts, and strive to push forward all preparatory work of the conference with high quality and efficiency. He Zunqing, vice secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Commission; Li Wanqian, chairman of the Standing Committee of Huaihua Municipal People’s Congress attended the meeting. Also in attendance were Li Weilin, Yang Zhihua, Yin Peiguo, Zou Xingwang, Zheng Xiaohu, Hu Chen, and Pan Dong, etc., all of whom are key officials of Huaihua Municipal Government.

At the meeting, Xu firstly listened to reports on the work of the Municipal Executive Committee Office, various special working groups, “3+4” activity groups, and various counties and Hecheng district, and then he studied and clarified specific issues. Xu pointed out that the preparation work for the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference has entered the final stage, so all related departments across the city should find out all possible difficulties and problems, drum up their energy to the fullest and make every effort to do everything well for the preparation of the conference. Therefore, all related personnel and departments should further focus on the details of every work by comprehensively identifying, optimizing and improving any defects and deficiencies, and strive for excellence and perfection. Xu noted that we need to further enrich the scene and improve the business format, so as to present local cultural and tourism resources more perfectly. In addition, We need to further mobilize all cadres and masses in the city to participate in the activity, so as to create a strong atmosphere of "being a good host and welcoming the tourism development conference"by jointly maintaining the city's image and by welcoming guests and visitors from home and abroad with a new look and full spirit. What’s more, we need to further safeguard and strengthen the safety of construction, have investigation and resolution for any risk, and crack down on various illegal and criminal activities, so as to maintain social harmony and stability across the city.

Xu emphasized that relevant leaders of the local authorities should timely study and solve specific difficulties and practical problems by concentrating their efforts to command and dispatch the work on the the front line, and all the related departments of the counties and Hecheng district should strictly follow the work requirements of the Joint Operations Command of the conference and perform their respective duties with close coordination to ensure that all work is implemented effectively.
