He emphasized that we must launch initiatives to gain a good understanding of the guiding principles made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection in Hunan and act on them, we must comply with the plans and requirements by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province, and we must make persistent efforts to strive for perfection to ensure that all preparations are fully made and that the forum will be successful. He Zunqing (deputy secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee) and municipal leaders such as Li Weilin, Yin Peiguo, Zou Xingwang, Zheng Xiaohu, Hu Chen and others attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the requirements raised in the speech made by Sui Zhongcheng (member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee) were publicized on preparations for the 11th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs; the overall preparations for the forum as well as the relevant specific work reports for the forum from the various working groups of the Huaihua Municipal Executive Committee Office, Hecheng District, Zhongfang County, Hongjiang District, Huaihua High-tech Zone, Huaihua International Land Port Economic Development Zone, Huaihua Municipal Health Commission, etc., were presented at the meeting. Besides, the matters concerned were studied and determined, and relevant work was arranged specifically.
Xu Zhongjian pointed out that the preparations for the forum have reached the most critical point of last stage. All departments at all levels in the city make sure that their thoughts and actions must comply with the decisions and plans by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province and with the work requirements of the Hunan provincial organizing committee, shoulder the responsibilities of the host, and fully enter into a state as urgent as in a wartime, sparing no time to work to make various preparations for the forum.
Xu Zhongjian emphasized that we must check for leaks and fill in gaps, striving for perfection in terms of preparations for the forum. Following perfect criterion, we are supposed to make up for leaks, shore up weak links and refine the arrangement in the respect of the preparations, ensuring that reception services are refined, activity inspections are optimized, and the environmental atmosphere is improved. It is of necessity to build a strong defense line for the safety of the forum. Revolving around various safety issues involved in the activities of the forum, we will focus on practical exercises, comprehensively carry out “look-back” initiative as for the rectification of hidden dangers, and resolutely achieve effective command, rapid response, and efficient disposal. We must comprehensively identify and resolve conflicts and disputes resulting from public complains, continue to bolster the identification and rectification of hidden dangers in the respect of workplace safety, severely crack down on all types of illegal and criminal activities in accordance with the law, and take solid steps to prevent risks, ensure safety, and maintain stability across the city. We must do a good job in publicity, reporting and public opinion guidance to create a sound atmosphere. We must strengthen responsibilities and make great efforts to implement them. We will commit all our thoughts, all our efforts, and all our strength to the Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs, aiming to set up a firm idea of “one game of chess”, strengthen coordination and interconnection between departments or links, and strictly enforce work discipline, conducive to the implementation of work, responsibilities, and measures.
