On the morning of June 14, 2024, Li Chunqiu, deputy secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted inspectionon of industrial development, rural revitalization, and other related work. Ma Yuan, secretary general of Huaihua Municipal Government, attended the inspection.
Arriving at Daping Village in Lianshan Township, Li gained a detailed understanding of the development of Yan Emperor’s cultural tourism industry and traditional Chinese medicine industry. He emphasized the need to fully tap into the spiritual connotation of Yan Emperor’s culture, promote the integration of culture and tourism, shape tourism through culture, and promote the high-quality development of Yan Emperor’s cultural tourism industry through tourism. We must firmly establish the concept that “green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as gold and silver”. While protecting forest land and vegetation, we should develop ecological planting based on the situation of the mountains, and strive to find a new path to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively connect with rural revitalization. Li also walked into the homes of villagers Yang Anping and Liu Yuying, inquiring about their production and living conditions. He urged local officials to truly immerse themselves, fully understand the thoughts and expectations of the people, and do everything possible to help them solve problems. He resolutely implemented the Party’s policies that benefit the people accurately, continuously improving the people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security.
Hunan Rongjing Bamboo Industry Development Co., Ltd. mainly produces and sells bamboo daily necessities, and its business covers countries and regions such as Vietnam, Laos, Japan and South Korea, Europe, and North America. After examining the development of the industry and the operation of enterprises, Li pointed out that the bamboo industry is not only a green and low-carbon industry, but also a sunrise and prosperous industry for the people. Huaihua has abundant bamboo resources. It requires to take the bamboo industry as a starting point for developing advanced manufacturing based on resource advantages, scientifically formulate development goals, solidly promote the deep processing of bamboo products, and focus on improving the level of comprehensive utilization. Enterprises should further leverage their role as the main body of technological innovation, vigorously implement new technology applications, new process transformations, and new product research and development, continuously improving brand competitiveness and market share.
The construction project of Hunan Xiangtong Industrial with an annual output of 12 million bags has completed an investment of nearly 950 million yuan. From January to May this year, the enterprise achieved a production value of 305 million yuan and completed tax revenue of 7.5578 million yuan. Li walked into the production workshop and carefully inquired about the production and operation situation of the enterprise. He encouraged the responsible persons of the enterprise to reasonably layout the projects of extending, supplementing, and strengthening the chain, driving the cluster landing, group entry, and chain development of upstream and downstream enterprises, and making greater contributions to the construction of the “International Capital of Bags and Luggages.”
During the on-site inspection of the railway dedicated line project in Lianshan Industrial Park, Li emphasized the need to reverse the construction period, carry out map operations, increase personnel and machinery investment, accelerate project construction progress, and make every effort to create an important logistics support node for the southern area of Huaihua International Land Port while ensuring engineering quality and safety.
