On November 28, the first "Shining Hunan" Online Entrepreneurship Live Streaming Competition Huaihua Selection Round successfully concluded at Huaihua University of Entrepreneurship. Two projects, including "Telling Chinese Stories: Hunan's Intangible Cultural Heritage Going Global," won first prizes. Three projects, including "Xupu Goose Full Industry Chain Development and Operation," won second prizes. Five projects, including "Huai Agriculture Out of the Mountains - 'Eighteen Special Agricultural' Rural E-commerce Innovation Services," won third prizes. Nine projects, including the "Mover in the Mountains: Local Products Selection Project," won excellence awards. Five units, including the Xupu County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, won the "Excellent Organization Award." Two individuals, including Kang Jianxiong, were honored with the "Excellent Mentor Award."

The competition, which lasted for four months, was divided into two tracks: the creative group and the entrepreneurial group. After the initial organization and selection from various counties and districts, 12 entrepreneurial group projects, including "Yanjiao Dong Village Cloud Mist Creek Happy Valley," and 7 creative group projects, including "Telling Chinese Stories: Hunan's Intangible Cultural Heritage Going Global," were shortlisted for the city-level finals. The competition invited five industry experts, including national entrepreneurship trainer and web creation trainer Li Dan, to serve as judges. The finals were divided into three parts: project display, live broadcast review, and short video review. Through project roadshows and questions from the judges, the competition focused on examining the entrepreneurial projects' ability to drive employment, live broadcast applications, and project prospects.

Judge Chen Hongyan explained that the project display primarily scored based on product services, business models, management models, live-stream sales, the quantity and quality of job opportunities provided, the scale of employment driven in upstream and downstream industries, and the employment of key groups. The live broadcast and short video sections focused on the project's live broadcast planning ability, publicity and traffic attraction ability, execution ability, and team coordination ability. The final project score was calculated by adding 60% of the project display score, 30% of the live broadcast score, and 10% of the short video score.

It is reported that the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security will not only award medals and cash prizes to the winning projects, units, and individuals of this competition, but also provide policy support such as relaxing the conditions for applying for entrepreneurial guarantee loans, implementing entrepreneurial subsidies, and giving priority to recommending them for admission to entrepreneurial incubation bases. Additionally, a group of representative figures will be selected for widespread publicity within the society.

This competition is a concrete action to implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council to encourage entrepreneurship and employment. It is an important measure to implement the "Innovative Hunan" work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and a specific action to deeply implement the "Five New Missions and Four Developmental Goals" strategy. In December, the works "Telling Chinese Stories: Hunan's Intangible Cultural Heritage Going Global," "Missing Hometown and Products: A Single Seed Changing the World," "Huayangxi High Mountain Terraced Rice Project," and "Xupu Goose Full Industry Chain Development and Operation" will jointly represent Huaihua in the provincial competition.
