Huaihua has a total of 1,446 logistics market entities, 57 specialized markets and freight stations, 78 express delivery companies, six A-level logistics companies, 11 special railway lines with a total length of 11,000 meters, and storage facilities with a total area of 1.1 million square meters. In 2020, the city was approved as the construction unit of “national key cold chain logistics base”.

A first-class business logistics base in southwest China has begun to take shape. At present, the city basically forms a logistics industry development pattern featuring “one zone, five parks, multiple channels and multiple nodes”. Specifically, “one area” refers to the Wuling Mountain Multimodal Integrated Logistics Zone (the two freight hub bases in east and west Huaihua); “five parks” refer to the Huaihua Chuanhua Highway Port Logistics Park, Jiahui Agricultural Product Logistics Park, High-tech Zone Industrial Product Logistics Park, Huairen Pharmaceutical Industry Logistics Park, and Jinkouan-Longping International Grain and Oil Logistics Park; “multiple channels” refer to the Huaihua-Minsk international intermodal railway channel on the Land Silk Road, the southward channel of the Huaihua-ASEAN international intermodal railway line, the Huaihua-Beibu Gulf international channel on the Maritime Silk Road, the Huaihua-Guangzhou international channel on the Maritime Silk Road, the international channel of the Yuanjiang River (Wushui River) connecting to rivers and seas, and the international air logistics channel of Huaihua Zhijiang Airport; “multiple nodes” refer to the development of multi-type logistics nodes in the city by Anli Logistics, Blue Express and other third-party logistics companies.
